The Value Featheredge Overlap Garden Shed range has featherboards cladding which offers a more economic storage capacity
for general garden items and gives good protection from the weather.
8mm thick OSB roofing and 10mm thick OSB flooring is used for stability - this type of board is very structurally stable.
The framework in the Value Overlap garden shed range is 27mm x 32mm, which provides a sturdy skeleton for the 8mm overlap cladding to be fixed onto.
Styrene glazed windows are standard which provide an environmentally friendly, safer alternative to glass and doesn't shatter if knocked or hit. The shed windows can be installed on the left or right side of the garden shed to suit the requirements of your garden.
The doors are braced for longevity and they are clad with feather edge overlap boarding to match the rest of the building.
The Value Overlap range have an Apex roof, which provides extra room on the inside of the shed and additionally adds an attractive outer appearance.
Mineral roofing felt is used which protects the roof boarding from fungal decay and wood rot.
The Value Overlap series hss a turn button to keep the door closed.
Please note that this garden shed is pre-treated with a water based timber treatment which protects the shed whilst in transit but it is still neccessary to treat the building with a good quality solvent based preservative either before or immediately after installation. This will give good weather protection for your building and help to lenghten it's lifespan, but will need to be repeated according to the wood treatment's manufacturers instructions.
