Insulated Log Cabins are widely used in many colder countries than the UK as houses, but they are generally single skinned made with really thick logs or are then lined out internally. Our Twin Wall Log Cabins are either much warmer or as warm but cheaper than either of these other options. They have with 2 wall layers (one outer log wall and one inner log wall) separated by an insulation cavity or gap between them where a variety of insulation materials can be inserted (not forgetting the insulated roof and floor). The insulation works both ways- on hot summer days this design also keeps the cabin cooler. The wall cavity can also be used to place wiring for your electrics within the walls to keep it nice and tidy.
