The Value Tongue and Groove Apex Garden Shed range are quality sheds at fantastic value for money. Each shed in this range is clad with 12mm tongue and groove shiplap fixed onto 27mm x32mm framework. This gives a robust shed structure that is log-lasting and can stand up to severe weather and general wear and tear.
The shiplap cladding is a profiled tongue and groove board which allow water to run off easily to help protect the joints of the timber.
The Apex roof on each garden shed in this range adds strength to the structure and a slight overhang around the garden shed ensures any rainwater drips clear, away from the walls.
The Apex roof style of these sheds also gives more headroom and storage space of the larger and taller items that you may want to store away.
Mineral roofing felt is supplied in this range of buildings which protects the roof boards and is aesthetically pleasing to look at.
The windows are glazed with styrene which is a safer alternative to glass as it doesn't shatter. The windows can be installed on either side of the sheds to suit your requirements.
The braced doors are clad with tongue and grooved boarding and braced by 27mm x 32mm framing making the door stronger and suitable to fit additional security measures such as press locks or a hasp & staple.
Structurally sound 8mm thick OSB roof boarding and 10mm thick OSB floor boarding are used for durability and stability.
The Value Overlap series has a turn button to keep the door closed.
Please note that our garden sheds and framed summerhouses are pre-treated with a water based timber treatment which protects the shed whilst in transit but it is still neccessary to treat the building with a good quality solvent based preservative iether before or immediately after installation. This will give good weather protection for your building and help to lenghten it's lifespan, but will need to be repeated according to the wood treatment's manufacturers instructions.
