The Cabins are supplied untreated, therefore it is highly recommended that the timber is covered whilst being stored before installation. The Building should be painted with a good quality paint/stain as soon as possible either before or after installation.

The cabins are supplied untreated , therefore it is highly recommended that the timber  is covered whilst being stored before installation and then painted with a good quality paint/ stain as soon as possible either before or after installation.     Please note that insulation, although light, is extremely bulky and therefore we reserve the right to charge extra carriage for non-local deliveries.

Felt Shingles We supply rolled green mineral felt as standard with all of our cabins (apart from where stated otherwise) with the option to upgrade to felt shingles (cost for upgrading is shown in the above table).
Our felt shingles are made of high grade bitumen felt and are backed with sticky bitumen which permanently sticks them down when heated (either by heat gun or direct sunlight). Not only do shingles look attractive and are stuck down but also effectivley form a double layer due to the overlapping construction method.

"Oversized raised platform decking?"

Here is an example of a raised decking/platform that our cabins can be installed on. These timber based platforms can be used instead of a concrete base.

The example here shows addition features to a decking that can be considered during construction and within local authority planning permissions.

Depending on the size of your chosen cabin, we can construct almost any size decking you may wish, possibly to provide outside seating and table space and additional garden features.
