Details
The Apex range of concrete garages is based upon the traditional
pitched roof.
Features
Concrete panels all fully reinforced with purpose made, welded steel mat
Panels are a generous 6 ft 9 inches high.
Choice of hardwearing, weather resistant panel finishes -
Multi spar.
Limestone.
Irish white spar (extra cost option – please call for prices)
Roofing is corrugated, cement fibre sheets, Supported by treated timber
perlins (horizontal roof supports) and secured to welded steel trusses,
primed in red oxide.
The ridge is highly finished in a plastic coated galvanised capping
All woodwork is treated with an anti fungus, water repellent stain
All interior joints sealed with mastic
Choice of doors - Henderson Merlin Canopy steel, ‘up & over’ door
(clearance height 6 ft 2 inches) traditional timber door (glazed or
fully boarded).
Double garages come with 2 doors
but are also available with double width doors as an additional cost
option
One 4ft fixed timber window is included in the price, two in a double
garage.
Wider doors may be available as an additional cost option
Apex garages are available in any length and up to 20 ft wide.
Extra height Apex garages are also available, on request.

Specifications
Panels
- All concrete panels are machine
vibrated and fully reinforced with a purpose made welded steel mat for
added and strength and rigidity.
- Panels come in heights of 6 ft
6 ins, 6ft 9 ins, 7 ft and 8 ft , and in various widths, all have a
nominal thickness of 3 inches.

Trusses
- Purpose made, robust
construction, welded steel trusses are fabricated in house using
British Steel and primed in red oxide.
Roofs
- Heavy duty cement fibre sheets
fitted as standard (non asbestos)
- Also available are coloured
cement fibre sheets, plastic coated box profile steel sheets and plain
galvanised steel sheets.
Fronts
- Headboards are available in
timber or PVCu.
- Side pillars are available in
concrete or timber or genuine brick pillars (available as an optional
extra)
- Choice of Henderson steel ‘up &
over’ doors or traditional timber doors (glazed or fully boarded).
Personnel doors
- Timber and steel personnel
doors can be fitted to the side or back walls of your garage and in
some instances, to the front.
- Timber personnel doors are 6 ft
by 3 ft including the frame. They are hung on three T-hinges and
fitted with a lock and two keys.
- Inward opening doors are
available only on request.
- Steel personnel doors are 6 ft
by 3 ft including the steel frame and come complete with lock and two
keys.
- All personnel doors open
outwards but can be hinged on either right or left.
All timber work is treated with an
anti fungus water repellent stain.
